These training lessons are geared to wedding photographer professionals with at least basic knowledge of Photoshop; novices to Photoshop will be overwhelmed; more advanced Photoshop users will find little new here. The template designs themselves are not strikingly original, although several are very fashionable right now. Most of the focus of the workshop is rather on how to achieve better productivity and workflow, and in this aspect the DVD really excels. Kelby makes the process easy to understand and gives us a glimpse, over the shoulder as it were, of how a leading pro would tackle the problem. I learned how the tools for working with masks could become fluid and easy, revealing the power of Photoshop to simplify and automate my tasks. In Kelby’s hands the tools became quick and responsive, the design process, far more intuitive . My one beef with the DVD is its audio. Any videographer worth his/her salt should be able to mike subjects and sweeten audio better than Kelby does here.
